Abstract:
Provided is an underwater mask comprising buckles whereby a strap can be movably adjusted vertically and horizontally with respect to a wearer's head. The underwater mask comprises buckles (15) for coupling a strap (16) to a mask main body (14). The buckles further comprise: a base (28), further comprising a spring part (37) whereupon a locking hook (38) is disposed; a strap adjuster main body (30) which is turnably attached to the base and which further comprises a plurality of engagement teeth which are engaged sequentially with the locking hook by the turning of said strap adjuster main body; an operation member (32) which is retained within the main body and is operated from outside the main body; and a stopper (31) which is retained within the main body. The operation member further comprises a spring part (64), sliding parts (66), and a pair of finger contact parts (65) which are exposed externally to the main body by the action of the spring part. The stopper further comprises a sliding contact tapering protrusion (58) which has a function of, by the operation of the operation member, sliding against the pair of sliding parts so as to cause the stopper to swing in a direction opposite to the strap adjuster main body and negate the engagement of a catch with respect to the engagement teeth of the strap.
