Abstract:
The present invention suppresses ultrasound propagating in a waveguide from leaking outside. An ultrasound generation device (10) comprises: an ultrasound generation source (11); an ultrasound focusing part (12); and a waveguide (13). The waveguide (13) has: a first axial part (21); a second axial part (22); and a bulging part (30). The first axial part (21) extends toward one side in a predetermined direction from the ultrasound focusing part (12). The second axial part (22) is provided further on the one side in the predetermined direction than the first axial part (21) and extends in the predetermined direction. The bulging part (30) is provided between the first axial part (21) and the second axial part (22) in the predetermined direction. The bulging part (30) bulges outside the outer circumferential surface of the second axial part (22) and the first axial part (21) in a plane direction perpendicular to the predetermined direction.
