Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a polygon mirror, a light transmitter, and a surveying system that facilitates automatic collimation using a surveying device. Provided is a light transmitter comprising: a light source; an axicon lens into which light emitted by the light source enters, within which the light is converted into ring light, and from which the ring light is emitted; a twisted ring polygon mirror having a surface configured as a reflective surface, said twisted ring polygon mirror being formed into a ring shape by being subjected to rotary extrusion over 360° while being twisted at a prescribed angle, and assuming the shape of an n-cornered polygon in cross-section; and a rotary drive unit for rotatably driving the twist ring polygon mirror. The axis of rotation of the twist ring polygon mirror is set along the optical axis of the axicon lens. The ring light emitted from the axicon lens impinges on the rotationally driven twist ring polygon mirror, reflects off the reflective surface, and performs a vertical scan as a fan beam spreading 360° in top view.
