Abstract:
The present invention relates to a trimaran. The trimaran has a different structure from an existing trimaran in which three thin hulls share one main deck. In the trimaran, a spatial rod system structure (1) replaces partial hulls between the main deck and a waterplane of the existing trimaran, such that the volume of the partial hulls is reduced, and impact force of waves on the partial hulls is reduced. The trimaran has better wave resistance. The trimaran can be divided into upper, middle, and lower portions which are connected. The upper portion comprises upper layer facilities, and the upper layer facilities refer to facilities mounted on the upper portion of the trimaran, such as a platform (4), a cab, a lounge, and a lifting device. The middle portion is the spatial rod system structure (1) consisting of rods. The lower portion comprises three thin hulls. The spatial rod system structure (1) can withstand bending and torsional moments generated by the trimaran in use. An enclosure (6) is communicated between the middle hull (2) and the upper layer facilities in the trimaran. The trimaran of the present invention can further be designed to be a small-waterplane trimaran.
