Disclosed is a triangular filter filled with tows in sections. The appearance of the triangular filter is cylindrical. The filter is composed of an outer layer and an inner layer, the outer layer being an outer forming paper (W) rolled into a cylinder (W1), and the inner layer being a cylindrical shape formed by folding an inner forming paper (N) along an axial cross section of the cylinder (W1) into a regular triangle (N1); and three vertices of the triangle (N1) are on an inner wall surface of the cylinder (W1), wherein an outer tow (S1) is filled between the outer forming paper (W) and the inner forming paper (N), and the inner forming paper (N) is filled with an inner tow (S2). Further disclosed is a preparation method for the triangular filter filled with tows in sections.
