A traveling-wave tube amplifier, a power enhancement system, a base station and a related method, which relate to the technical field of electromagnetic-wave power enhancement devices. The traveling-wave tube amplifier comprises a plurality of emitting assemblies, which are all arranged at the same end of the traveling-wave tube amplifier; and the traveling-wave tube amplifier comprises a plurality of power connection circuits, which are electrically connected to the plurality of emitting assemblies in a manner of corresponding to each other on a one-to-one basis, and are used for driving the emitting assemblies to emit electron beams, such that the traveling-wave tube amplifier at least operates in a first working state or a second working state, wherein in the first working state, some of the plurality of emitting assemblies emit electron beams, and in the second working state, the remaining emitting assemblies emit electron beams, or the plurality of emitting assemblies all emit electron beams. In the present application, a power enhancement function of a large power change range can be achieved by means of a multi-electron-beam traveling-wave tube amplifier structure, such that the efficiency is high in both a high-power mode and a low-power mode.
