Abstract:

The travel control device according to an embodiment is provided with a detection unit, a relative distance calculation unit, a speed information acquisition unit, a movement distance calculation unit, and a travel control unit. The travel control unit controls the travel of a train on the basis of the relative distance calculated by the relative distance calculation unit, so that the train stops at a stop position specified by an object, when the object is detected by the detection unit. Once a prescribed condition is satisfied, the travel control unit switches control, and controls the travel of the train on the basis of the movement distance calculated by the movement distance calculation unit.
