Abstract:
Provided is a technology for reliably transporting, by machine tools, an object to be transported. A transport system according to the present invention comprises a transport path and a storage unit provided along the transport path. The storage unit stores an object to be transported used for machining a workpiece, and has a first reference shape at a predetermined location of the storage unit. The transport system comprises a plurality of machine tools and a transport device wherein the transport device is configured to move on the transport path and transports the object to be transported stored in the storage unit to a machine tool, which is of the plurality of machine tools and is the transport destination. The transport device is provided with a camera. The transport system comprises a control unit which executes: processing of moving the transport device to a predetermined first position on the transport path to cause the camera to capture the first reference shape and acquiring a first image from the camera; and processing of correcting, on the basis of the position of the first reference shape in the first image, a control parameter used when the object to be transported, which is stored in the storage unit, is transported to the machine tool that is the transport destination.
