Abstract:
This transparent article is formed by molding a cyclic olefin copolymer or a resin composition containing the same, wherein the cyclic olefin copolymer is obtained through a process including: a step for charging a polymerization container with at least a norbornene monomer and ethylene as monomers; and a step for polymerizing the monomers in the polymerization container in the presence of a metal-containing catalyst, and the metal-containing catalyst satisfies predetermined conditions.
