Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a transmission method, a transmission device, a reception device, and a reception method that are capable of improving a cost and channel selection time on a reception side. The transmission method is a method in which an upper layer (UL) signal and a lower layer (LL) signal are multiplexed by a layer division multiplexing (LDM) method prior to performing time interleaving. The present disclosure can be applied to a transfer system that supports, for example, a broadcast mode that is a next-generation mode of the Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting-Terrestrial (ISDB-T) mode or the like.
