Title:
TRANSFER CABLE FOR ELEVATOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/035139
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a transfer cable which is connected to a cage in a hoist way of an elevator so as to move in a vertical direction and, more specifically, the transfer cable is provided to cover a plurality of wire bundles by upper and lower sheaths and to thermally bond the wire bundles along a longitudinal direction, wherein the wire bundles are thermally bonded in a state of being inserted such that the wire bundles come in tight contact with each other by correspondingly forming round protrusions and grooves in the thermally-bonded parts whereby the invention can exhibit superior economic effects, such as a simple coupling operation without a separate jig, an excellent strong bonding effect due to a wide bonding area, and a minimized bending radius due to bending grooves which are formed in a width direction on outer surfaces of the upper and lower sheaths, and as a result, a hoist way space of an elevator or the like can be compact.
