Abstract:
The on-board control device of this train control system has an on-board control unit for transmitting the on-rail position of a train to a ground control device, receiving, from the ground control device, the travelable path and travel permission position of the train which are based on the on-rail position, and controlling the train on the basis of an operation pattern to the travel permission position. The ground control device has a ground control unit for receiving the on-rail position from the on-board control device, calculating the travelable path and the travel permission position which are based on the on-rail position, and transmitting the travel permission position to the on-board control device. The on-board control unit monitors the state of a power device mounted on the train, calculates the failure rate of the power device, and controls the train on the basis of the operation pattern which is selected on the basis of the failure rate or the failure rate and the boarding rate of the train.
