Abstract:
The present invention relates to a trailer transport system in which a transport vehicle automatically docks with a trailer and transports the trailer to a transport location through autonomous driving, and a trailer transport method using same. To this end, the present invention provides a trailer transport system using autonomous driving, the system being characterized by comprising: a trailer to be transported; at least two transport vehicles which dock or undock with the trailer and transport the trailer; and a management server which controls the driving of the transport vehicles, wherein the transport vehicles comprise a transport vehicle main body and a trailer coupling part which is formed on the upper portion of the transport vehicle main body and coupled to the trailer, and the trailer comprises a trailer main body, a plurality of height-adjusting pillars which are coupled to respective corner parts of the lower surface of the trailer main body and are adjusted in length to move the trailer main body up and down from the ground, and a vehicle coupling part which is formed on the lower surface of the trailer main body and coupled to the trailer coupling part.
