Provided are a torque measuring device and a method for manufacturing the same with which it is possible to limit manufacturing time. For a plurality of test samples having the same configuration as a torque measuring device to be manufactured: a test is performed to investigate a coil balance Cb, which is a ratio between a product R1×R3 of resistance values of two opposite sides constituting one group of opposite sides of a bridge circuit 8 and a product R2×R4 of resistance values of two opposite sides constituting another group of opposite sides of the bridge circuit 8, and a temperature change rate VT of an output voltage Vo resulting from a change in temperature of a sensor unit 4; a relationship X between the coil balance Cb and the temperature change rate VT is acquired from the result of the test; and the temperature change rate VT is obtained from the relationship X using the coil balance Cb obtained by measuring the four resistance values R1 to R4 of the bridge circuit for the torque measuring device to be manufactured.
