Abstract:
Provided are a topology restoration method, a first optical network, and a communication apparatus, relating to the technical field of optical communications. In the first optical network, office equipment is connected to customer premise equipment by means of at least one light beam splitter, dispersion devices can be provided on an optical path between different light beam splitters, and an optical path between the light beam splitters and the customer premise equipment, and dispersion values introduced by different dispersion devices are different. Therefore, the customer premise equipment can determine, according to an additional dispersion value reflected by a received optical signal, the identifier of an optical fiber beam splitter port through which the optical signal passes. Any customer premise equipment can transmit, to target office equipment, the determined identifier of the optical fiber beam splitter port through which the optical signal to the customer premise equipment passes, so that the target office equipment can restore the topological structure of the first optical network according to the acquired information.
