Abstract:
A tool transport system (10) that comprises a display unit (106, 206), a plurality of machine tools (400), a tool storage unit (250) for storing a plurality of tools, a transport device (300) for transporting a tool designated from the tools stored in the tool storage unit (250) to a machine tool designated from the plurality of machine tools (400), and a control unit (50) for controlling the tool transport system (10). The control unit (50) performs processing that acquires stocked tool information (128) that indicates identification information for tools stocked by the tool transport system (10), processing that specifies a plurality of tools to be used by the plurality of machine tools (400) on the basis of a workpiece machining schedule (126) for the plurality of machine tools (400), processing that specifies unstocked tools that, of the plurality of tools to be used, are not indicated by the stocked tool information (128), and processing that displays identification information for the unstocked tools at the display unit (106, 206).
