Abstract:
[Problem] To make it possible for a connection operation to be performed easily in a tool attachment unit in which there is no need to precisely match the circumferential-direction position of a tool adapter with respect to a unit body. [Solution] A tool attachment unit 1 comprises a tool adapter 10 and a unit body 12 to which the tool adapter 10 is detachably connected. The tool adapter 10 comprises a connecting shaft part 20, and a guide groove 28 and connecting recess 30 formed on an outer peripheral surface 20a of the connecting shaft part 20. The guide groove 28 has an inclined portion 32 that extends obliquely with respect to a longitudinal axis line L. When the connecting shaft part 20 is inserted in an insertion hole 38 in the unit body 12, and the inclined portion 32 of the guide groove 28 reaches a position aligned with a first ball 56, the first ball 56 displaces to an engagement position and engages in the guide groove 28. The connecting shaft part 20 is inserted to an attachment position while being guided by the guide groove 28. The connecting recess 30 reaches a position aligned with a second ball 58, and the second ball 58 reaches an engagement position and engages with the connecting recess 30.
