Abstract:
Provided is a tonneau cover device comprising: a tonneau cover that covers a cargo room of a vehicle; a rollup shaft (32) to which a base end of the tonneau cover is attached; a rollup mechanism (40) that rotatably supports both ends of the rollup shaft (32) with the rollup shaft (32) biased in the rollup direction of the tonneau cover so that the tonneau cover can be rolled up or pulled out; a holder (60) which is externally mounted on at least one end of the rollup mechanism (40) so as to be slidable in the longitudinal direction thereof and which is biased toward the outward longitudinal direction of the rollup mechanism (40); and a biasing member (70) which is interposed between the inner circumferential surface of the holder (60) and the outer circumferential surface of the at least one end of the rollup mechanism (40) and which biases the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface in mutually separating directions.
