Abstract:
Provided is a small-diameter tire that can inhibit a reduction in wear performance and improve fuel consumption performance. A tire 1 comprises: a tread part 2 having tread rubber 15 comprising cap tread 151 and under tread 152; a pair of bead cores 11; a carcass layer 13 bridging the bead cores 11; and a belt layer 14 disposed radially outward of the carcass layer 13. The outer diameter OD (mm) of the tire is in the 200 ≤ OD ≤ 660 range, the total width SW (mm) of the tire is in the 100 ≤ SW ≤ 400 range, the breaking strength TB_cap (MPa) of the cap tread 151 is in the 12 ≤ TB_cap ≤ 35 range, and the relationship between the outer diameter OD of the tire and the amount of change between the ground contact area CA80 at 80% of maximum load capacity and the ground contact area CA120 at 120% of maximum load capacity satisfies 0.0004×OD ≤ {(CA120–CA80)/CA80} ≤ 0.0030×OD.
