Abstract:
A belt layer 7 comprises at least one belt ply 7A. The belt ply 7A comprises: single wire cords 9, which have a short diameter SD and a long diameter LD with the ratio SD/LD of the short diameter SD to the long diameter LD being less than 1.00; and topping rubber 10 for coating the single wire cords 9. The single wire cords 9 are disposed so that the short diameter SD direction lies in the thickness direction of the belt ply 7A. For the topping rubber 10, the complex modulus of elasticity (E*) at a temperature of 70°C, an initial strain of 10%, a dynamic strain amplitude of ±1.0%, and a frequency of 10 Hz is less than 7 MPa.
