Abstract:
Provided is a tire rubber composition that is capable of improving wet gripping performance without losing wear resistance, and imparting excellent operating performance. The tire rubber composition is obtained by blending, into 100 parts by mass of a diene-based rubber: 3 parts by mass to 100 parts by mass of an aromatic hydrocarbon resin that satisfies the conditions of expressions (1) and (2); and 30 parts by mass to 300 parts by mass of silica having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area N2SA of 100 m2/g to 300 m2/g (in the expressions, Tg is the glass transition temperature (units: ºC), Mw is the weight average molecular weight, and Mn is the number average molecular weight). (1): Tg > 36 × Mw/Mn + 22 (2): Mw > 3000
