Abstract:
Provided are: a tire comprising a belt layer capable of increasing operation stability performance, ride comfort performance and durability performance in good balance; and the belt layer. A tire 1 comprises a belt layer 7 arranged inside a tread part 2. The belt layer 7 comprises at least one belt ply 9. The belt ply 9 comprises a plurality of belt cords 10 each including a steel single wire 11 having a flat cross sectional shape. The direction of the minor diameter of the steel wire 11 of at least one of the belt codes 10 is inclined at an angle θ smaller than 90° with respect to the thickness direction of the belt ply 9.
