Abstract:

Disclosed in the present application are a thermal insulation pad and a preparation method therefor, and a battery pack and an apparatus. The thermal insulation pad comprises silicone rubber and an aerogel dispersed in the silicone rubber, wherein the thermal insulation pad meets the conditions of one side face of the thermal insulation pad being in contact with a hot surface at 600°C at a pressure of 0.9 MPa for 5 minutes, the pressure then being relieved; and after the side face of the thermal insulation pad continues to be in contact with the hot surface at 600°C for 20 minutes, the temperature difference between the side surface of the thermal insulation pad and the other side surface opposite to the side surface being greater than or equal to 150°C. By using the thermal insulation pad in the present application, the safety performance of a battery pack and an apparatus can be improved.
