Abstract:
A testing method for welding quality of a friction stir welded surface, comprising the following steps: acquiring a continuous weld seam surface depth image; cropping the weld seam surface depth image at an appropriate step size, and dividing the cropped weld seam surface depth image into areas to obtain a front side reference area, a thinning area and a rear side reference area; determining whether the flatness of the front side reference area is smaller than a threshold value, and if yes, taking the present height of the front side reference area as the latest reference height; if no, determining whether the flatness of the rear side reference area is smaller than a threshold value, and if yes, taking the present height of the rear side reference area as the latest reference height; if no, taking the reference height of the previous segment of depth image as the latest reference height; and subtracting the present average height of the thinning area from the latest reference height to obtain a thinning amount. The testing method has a high degree of automation, provides accurate testing results, and provides reference for later processing, thereby improving production efficiency and welding quality.
