Abstract:
A terminal processing device (100) for an electric wire (1) having a core wire (3), the outer circumference of which is covered with a foil (4) comprises: a blade (11) that is movable in the radial direction of the electric wire (1) and makes a cut in the foil (4); a restraining member (13) that moves in the radial direction of the electric wire (1) in conjunction with the blade (11) and limits the cutting depth of the blade (11); a guide (15) that is disposed opposite the blade (11) and the restraining member (13) with respect to the electric wire (1) and receives the pressing force of the electric wire (1) caused by the blade (11) and the restraining member (13); and a rotating mechanism (17) that rotates the blade (11), the restraining member (13), and the guide (15) around the axis of the electric wire (1). The guide (15) is provided at a position corresponding to the position from the blade (11) to the restraining member (13) in the longitudinal direction of the electric wire (1).
