[Problem] To provide: a tagged container on which a tag is disposed in a suitable state on a container opening section with a layered structure; and a tagged preform to be used to manufacture the tagged container. [Solution] In a tagged preform 100, a cylindrical body 4 manufactured as a separate component is fixed by being inserted into an outer peripheral surface of an opening section 123 of a preform main body 120 and a tag 6 is disposed between the opening section 123 and the cylindrical body 4. A tagged container 1 is obtained by performing biaxial stretch blow molding on a trunk section 122 and a base section 121 of the tagged preform 100. The cylindrical body 4 and the opening section 123 of the preform main body 120 remain, without being subjected to biaxial stretch blow molding, as an outer-layer-side container opening section and an inner-layer-side container opening section 23 of a container opening section of the tagged container 1. The tagged container 1, with the tag 6 disposed between inner and outer layers of the layered-structure container opening section, is obtained without reliance on insert molding.
