Claims:
CLAIMS

1. A system (1) which enables to track expenditures of bank customers and instruments of payments preferred by them, to record these, to analyse them by means of a blockchain network, to estimate expenditures that may be made in the future and to recommend optimum instrument of payment to customers in accordance with estimates; comprising at least one blockchain network (2) which is configured to store data such as identity information, expenditure information about a bank customer on at least one block; at least one electronic device (3) which is configured to run at least one application on it; at least one application (4) which is configured to run on the electronic device (3) and to enable users to carry out banking transactions online; and characterized by at least one server (5) which is configured to track expenditures of users by accessing the blockchain network (2), to estimate expenditures to be made in the future by means of a predetermined algorithm and to recommend optimum instrument of payment to customers over the electronic device (3) and/or the application (4) by determining it in accordance with estimates.

2. A system (1) according to Claim 1; characterized by the blockchain network (2) which is configured to store identity information, bank subscription information, category -based expenditure/invoice information, preferences of instrument of payment about bank customers on at least one block.

3. A system (1) according to Claim 1 or 2; characterized by the electronic device (3) such as mobile phone, tablet, computer which is configured to run at least one application on it.

4. A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the application (4) which is configured to run on the electronic device (3) and to enable bank customers to carry out online banking transactions.

5. A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the application (4) which is configured to enable customers to view campaigns, recommendations of instrument of payment transmitted to them over an interface.

6. A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (5) which is configured to determine whether a customer has done shopping wherein at least one campaign is valid or not by controlling category-based expenditure information that are stored on the blockchain network (2), at predetermined periods.

A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (5) which is configured to query whether a customer has a different instrument of payment or not, in the event that the instrument of payment used by the customer for payment is determined to be not valid for the related campaign.

A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (5) which is configured to send a notification comprising the information that s/he can benefit from a campaign if they use the related instrument of payment, to a customer by short message over the electronic device (3) and/or over the application (4) in the event of determining that the customer has an instrument of payment valid for the campaign.

9. A system (1) according to any of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (5) which is configured to analyse information about previous expenditures by using a predetermined algorithm while recommendations of instrument of payment are determined for customers and to determine estimated expenditures to be made in the future as a result of the analysis carried out by the previous expenditures, on customer basis.

SYSTEM FOR RECOMMENDING OPTIMUM INSTRUMENT OF PAYMENT BY MEANS OF A BLOCKCHAIN NETWORK

Technical Field

The present invention relates to a system which enables to track expenditures of bank customers and instruments of payments preferred by them, to record these, to analyse them by means of a blockchain network, to estimate expenditures that may be made in the future and to recommend optimum instrument of payment to customers in accordance with estimates.

Background of the Invention

Today banks offer their customers opportunities such as various card recommendations, campaign offers in accordance with their payments and other usage information. In addition, there are also various studies which enable to determine the card corresponding to the amount of shopping to be done based on current cards of customers of banks, and recommend use of the determined card to the customer. However, a system which enables to estimate future expenditures of customers and accordingly to recommend optimum instrument of payment to customers by determining it, is not included in the state of the art. Considering the studies in the state of the art, it is understood that there is need for a system whereby campaigns are offered to customers and thus instruments of payment wherein these campaigns are valid are stated, and which enables customers to scan the campaigns and then choose the optimum one and to estimate future expenditures of customers. The United States patent document no. US2010262537A1, an application in the state of the art, discloses a system and method which enables to select and then recommend the optimum one among a plurality of credit cards by means of artificial intelligence and to make payment over a single card that is created by combination of a plurality of credit cards. The said invention comprises an artificial intelligence payment system for recommending an optimum card capable of providing a maximum benefit from among a plurality of cards issued to a user. The artificial intelligence payment system includes a payment apparatus for receiving an Identification (ID) of a combination card and payment amount information, transmitting the combination card ID and the payment amount information to an optimum card recommendation server; and for receiving priority information based on benefits of a plurality of cards mapped to the combination card ID from the optimum card recommendation server. The recommendation server generates card priority information, which includes optimum card recommendation information, on a basis of benefits of respective cards and a specific optimum card recommendation algorithm with respect to the plurality of user cards mapped to the combination card ID, and provides the card priority information to the payment apparatus.

Summary of the Invention

An objective of the present invention is to realize a system which enables to offer payment option to bank customers based on their previous expenditures and combination of bank campaigns in places where expenditures are made, and to carry out analysis over a blockchain network for estimates of expenditure.

Detailed Description of the Invention

“A System for Recommending Optimum Instrument of Payment by means of a Blockchain Network” realized to fulfil the objective of the present invention is shown in the figure attached, in which: Figure l is a schematic view of the inventive system.

The components illustrated in the figure are individually numbered, where the numbers refer to the following:

The inventive system (1) which enables to track expenditures of bank customers and instruments of payments preferred by them, to record these, to analyse them by means of a blockchain network, to estimate expenditures that may be made in the future and to recommend optimum instrument of payment to customers in accordance with estimates comprises: at least one blockchain network (2) which is configured to store data such as identity information, expenditure information about a bank customer on at least one block; at least one electronic device (3) which is configured to run at least one application on it; at least one application (4) which is configured to run on the electronic device (3) and to enable users to carry out banking transactions online; at least one server (5) which is configured to track expenditures of users by accessing the blockchain network (2), to estimate expenditures to be made in the future by means of a predetermined algorithm and to recommend optimum instrument of payment to customers over the electronic device (3) and/or the application (4) by determining it in accordance with estimates. The blockchain network (2) included in the inventive system (1) is configured to store identity information, bank subscription information, category-based expenditure/invoice information, preferences of instrument of payment about bank customers on at least one block.

The electronic device (3) included in the inventive system (1) is configured to run at least one application on it. The electronic device (3) is a device such as mobile phone, tablet, computer.

The application (4) included in the inventive system (1) is configured to run on the electronic device (3) and to enable bank customers to carry out online banking transactions. The application (4) is configured to enable customers to view campaigns, recommendations of instrument of payment transmitted to them over an interface.

The server (5) included in the inventive system (1) is configured to determine whether a customer has done shopping wherein at least one campaign is valid or not by controlling category-based expenditure information that are stored on the blockchain network (2), at predetermined periods. The server (5) is configured to query whether a customer has a different instrument of payment or not, in the event that the instrument of payment used by the customer for payment is determined to be not valid for the related campaign. The server (5) is configured to send a notification comprising the information that s/he can benefit from a campaign if they use the related instrument of payment, to a customer by short message over the electronic device (3) and/or over the application (4) in the event of determining that the customer has an instrument of payment valid for the campaign. Tthe server (5) is configured to analyse information about previous expenditures by using a predetermined algorithm while recommendations of instrument of payment are determined for customers and to determine estimated expenditures to be made in the future as a result of the analysis carried out by the previous expenditures, on customer basis. In the inventive system (1), information such as expenditures and payment related to bank customers are stored in a blockchain network (2) at first. In the event that a campaign is available in the bank for a specific instrument of payment, the server (5) controls the expenditure information stored in the blockchain network (2) and controls whether the customer has done shopping in categories wherein the campaign is valid. The server (5) determines whether the instrument of payment used in the shopping is an instrument of payment valid for the campaign or not. If the customer did not use an instrument of payment invalid for the campaign, an instrument of payment that is suitable for the customer and can be used within the campaign is determined and then notified based on the previous expenditure data and the campaign data. If the server (5) determines that the customer did shopping by means of an instrument of payment whereby s/he can benefit from a campaign, no action is taken.

With the present invention, a system whereby campaigns are offered to customers and thus instruments of payment wherein these campaigns are valid are stated, and which enables customers to scan the campaigns and then choose the optimum one and to estimate future expenditures of customers is made possible.

Within these basic concepts; it is possible to develop various embodiments of the inventive system (1); the invention cannot be limited to examples disclosed herein and it is essentially according to claims.
