This system is provided with: an absorption tower (13) which brings an introduced gas (11) and a CO2- and H2S-absorbing absorption solution (12) into contact and allows CO2 and H2S to be absorbed from the introduced gas; an absorption solution regeneration tower (14) which draws out, from the bottom of the absorption tower (13), a rich solution (12A) that has absorbed CO2, etc., and introduces said solution from the tower top (14a), and which discharges the CO2, etc., to regenerate the absorption liquid (12); a second supply line (L2) which returns the regenerated lean solution (12B) from the regeneration tower (14) to the absorption tower (13); a third supply line (L3) which draws out, from near the middle section (13b) of the absorption tower (13), a semi-rich solution (12C) which has absorbed a portion of the CO2 and H2S and introduces the semi-rich solution (12C) to near the middle segment (14b) of the regeneration tower (14); and a semi-rich solution heat exchanger (17) which is interposed at the intersection between the third supply line and the second supply line and which exchanges heat between the lean solution (12B) and the semi-rich solution (12C) which has absorbed CO2 and H2S drawn out from near the middle segment (13b) of the absorption tower (13).
