Abstract:
A synthesis method for tetraoctyl pyromellitate. The synthesis method comprises: feeding pyromellitic acid and isooctyl alcohol as raw materials into an esterification reaction kettle, adding a catalyst, i.e. B2O3/ZrO2-Al2O3 thereto, heating same to 220°C, and subjecting same to an esterification reaction; after the esterification reaction is finished, recovering and removing the catalyst by using a circulating press filter; and then subjecting same to dealcoholization, so as to obtain a finished product of tetraoctyl pyromellitate.
