Title:
SWITCHED-CAPACITOR INTEGRATOR CIRCUIT FOR COMPENSATING FOR POLE-ERROR OF INTEGRATOR-TRANSFER FUNCTION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/132193
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a technique for compensating for a pole-error of an integrator-transfer function in a switched-capacitor integrator circuit. The present invention is characterized by improving a signal-to-noise ratio of an output signal without significantly increasing power consumption and the size of a circuit by adding an amplifier having a voltage gain equal to or greater than a certain value to an auto-zeroed non-inverting switched-capacitor integrator circuit. In addition, the present invention is characterized in that when the integrator according to the present invention is applied to a delta-sigma modulator, the signal-to-noise ratio of the output signal is improved without increasing the power consumption by making an integrator-pole value of a Z-domain transfer function of the switched-capacitor integrator circuit be greater than a certain value.
