Abstract:
A switch device according to one aspect of the invention comprises a changeover contact member, a common contact member, a movable contact member, and a holding member. When a direction along the direction of movement of the movable contact member is defined as a first direction, a direction orthogonal to the first direction is defined as a second direction, and a direction orthogonal to both the first direction and the second direction is defined as a third direction, the movable contact member has a main body portion, a pair of contact pieces arranged in the third direction so as to be able to sandwich the changeover contact member therebetween, and a common contact portion that comes into contact with the common contact member, the holding member has a housing portion capable of housing a portion to be housed of the main body portion, and by the portion to be housed being snap-fit to the housing portion, with regard to the main body portion, the holding member restricts a displacement in the first direction and/or a displacement in the second direction while allowing a predetermined displacement in the third direction, thereby making it possible to easily and reliably perform relative alignment between the changeover contact member and the movable contact member.
