Abstract:
A surge protection circuit (520', 620', 720') and a power supply device (5) using same, and an LED illumination device (500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1000, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400, 1500, 1600, 1700, 1800). The surge protection circuit comprises an inductive circuit (621', 721') and an energy release circuit (622', 722'). The inductive circuit (621', 721') is coupled to a power supply circuit of a load, the inductive circuit (621', 721') is used for receiving and temporarily storing surge energy in the power supply circuit, and the energy release circuit (622', 722') is connected to the inductive circuit (621', 721') in parallel, and is used for releasing the surge energy, so as to avoid the effect of the surge energy on a post-stage circuit.
