Abstract:
A surface modification method for a glass fiber tape, and a glass fiber tape and the use thereof. The surface modification method for a glass fiber tape comprises the following three steps: determining decarburization conditions for the glass fiber tape, subjecting the surface of the glass fiber tape to a decarburization treatment, and recoating same with palmitic acid. According to the modification method, by means of subjecting the glass fiber tape to an air heat treatment, an original impregnating agent on the surface of the fiber tape can be effectively removed, the surface carbon content of the fiber tape is reduced, and the insulating property of a glass fiber tape-resin composite material is improved; and by means of recoating with palmitic acid, the glass fiber tape regains protection, the mechanical properties of the glass fiber tape are enhanced, and the use of the glass fiber tape is facilitated.
