Abstract:
As an important intermediate and product in production, sulfonate is widely applied in various fields, such as anionic surfactants, reaction intermediates, etc. However, during a sulfonation process, sulfur trioxide is usually used as a sulfonating agent. The mixing effect with raw materials during the sulfonation reaction process is poor, heat release is severe, and purity is low. Proposed is a method of using sulfur dioxide as a sulfonating agent to carry out a sulfonation reaction with an unsaturated alkane of an electron-withdrawing group in the presence of an acid-binding agent. The reaction conditions are mild, the process is simple, the reaction time is short, and the yield is high.
