Abstract:
A substance introduction device according to the present disclosure has at least one turbulence grid for causing turbulence in a fluid that includes cells and a substance to be introduced into the cells, at least a portion of the at least one turbulence grid being constituted of a conductive material that applies a charge to the cells in the fluid. A substance introduction method according to the present disclosure has a stress/charge application step that applies a charge to the cells in the fluid by a conductive material that constitutes at least a portion of the at least one turbulence grid while causing turbulence by passing a fluid that includes cells and a substance to be introduced into the cells through at least one turbulence grid.
