Abstract:
Provided is a structure that contains a TiAl alloy and that can enhance mechanical characteristics. The structure according to the present embodiment contains a TiAl alloy and is provided with a solidified section configured from the TiAl alloy. The metal structure of the solidified section has a cross-section comprising a directional control region in which: an α2 phase is arranged alternating with a β phase; the α2 phase extends in a prescribed direction; and the β phase extends in the extension direction of the α2 phase.
