The present invention relates to a stator of a rotating electric machine and a method for manufacturing same. The stator of the rotating electric machine of the present invention comprises: a stator core provided with a plurality of slots spaced apart from each other along the circumferential direction; and a stator coil wound on the stator core, wherein the stator coil is configured to be provided with a plurality of magnet wire modules including a plurality of magnet wires, each having a straight shape disposed along the axial direction, and molding parts surrounding and fixing the plurality of magnet wires, the plurality of magnet wire modules are configured to be inserted into the plurality of slots, respectively, and the plurality of magnet wires are configured to be bent along the circumferential direction of the stator core so as to be in contact with each other, and then, to be connected to conduct electricity. Accordingly, the bending operation of the magnet wire can be suppressed before slot insertion to facilitate the insertion of the magnet wire.
