Abstract:
A stator according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a stator core having a plurality of slots and a stator coil formed from a plurality of coil segments each of which is formed from a flat rectangular conductor. The coil segment has a first linear portion disposed in one slot, a second linear portion disposed in another slot, and a bridge portion connecting the first linear portion and the second linear portion on a side of one end surface of the stator core. The bridge portion is provided with a first bent portion that is bent in the circumferential direction from the first linear portion, a first extending portion that extends from the first bent portion toward the second linear portion, a second bent portion that is bent in the circumferential direction from the second linear portion, a second extending portion that extends from the second bent portion toward the first linear portion, and a crank portion positioned between the first extending portion and the second extending portion. When a radius from the center axis of the stator core to at least a partial region of the first extending portion is denoted as RS1, a radius from the center axis to at least a partial region of the second extending portion is denoted as RS2, and a spacing between a plurality of lanes in the radial direction is denoted as L1, the first extending portion and the second extending portion satisfy the relationship of |(RS2-RS1)|>L1.
