Disclosed is a sofa production method, comprising the following steps: producing a base, two supporting plates, and two drive connecting rod sets according to a specified size, and hingedly connecting and assembling those to obtain a functional rack of an iron sofa stand; producing a front rod and a rear rod according to the specified size, and correspondingly arranging the front and rear rods between the two supporting plates at an interval to obtain the iron sofa stand, wherein the two supporting plates are connected to the front and rear rods to form a supporting assembly frame; mounting elastic bearing members on the supporting assembly frame; covering the elastic bearing members on the iron sofa stand with a soft pack; processing a sofa fabric to a set size, then wrapping the soft pack with the sofa fabric and fixing same on the support assembly frame to complete the production of a sofa cushion part; and mounting a backrest frame, a footrest frame, and two armrest frames on the iron sofa stand to complete the production of a sofa.
