Abstract:
A sofa armrest assembly (A) capable of being adjusted in a collapsible manner. The armrest assembly (A) comprises: a fixed inner side plate (1) which is configured to be connected to one side of a sofa body (B); a movable outer side plate (2) which is parallel to and spaced apart from the fixed inner side plate (1) left and right; collapsible assemblies (3) which are connected between the fixed inner side plate (1) and the movable outer side plate (2), each collapsible assembly (3) comprising two rotating rods (6) which are hinged together in a crossed manner, and the movable outer side plate (2) having a collapsed state in which the movable outer side plate (2) gets close to the fixed inner side plate (1) and an opened state in which the movable outer side plate (2) moves away from the fixed inner side plate (1); and an armrest outer sleeve (4) which covers the fixed inner side plate (1) and the movable outer side plate (2) at the same time, and the part of the armrest outer sleeve (4) located between the fixed inner side plate (1) and the movable outer side plate (2) forming a flexible armrest supporting part (4a). In a use state, the movable outer side plate (2) is in the opened state, and the flexible armrest supporting part (4a) is correspondingly tensioned; in a packaging state, the movable outer side plate (2) and the fixed inner side plate (1) are collapsed to reduce the thickness of the armrest assembly (A), and the flexible armrest supporting part (4a) is correspondingly loosened. Therefore, the thickness of the armrest assembly (A) in the left-right direction can be adjusted.
