Abstract:
A socket, comprising: a body (1) and a terminal block (3). A side wall of the body (1) is provided with a wire port (2), so that a wire (37) enters the inner side of the body (1) from the wire port (2); and the terminal block (3) is provided on the inner side of the body (1) and is adapted to be connected to the wire (37). The wire (37) enters the inner side of the socket body (1) from the wire port (2) on the side wall of the body (1), and is connected to a wire inside a wall body by means of connecting terminals (15) on the inner side of the body (1), so that the socket may be embedded in the wall body and only expose the edge, and the socket can be connected to an electrical appliance only by externally connecting to a power strip. In this way, when an electrical appliance is placed in front of a socket, the electrical appliance can be pushed to a position close to a wall body, thereby saving the occupied space.
