Abstract:
A socket having a flat-plate switch, the socket comprising a base (1), which is provided with a jack assembly (2) and a switch assembly (3) for controlling the on/off of the jack assembly, wherein a socket top cover (4) directly facing the position of the jack assembly is provided above the base; the switch assembly comprises a switch top cover (5) arranged on one side of the socket top cover; and when the switch assembly is switched on or off, the upper end face of the switch top cover has an equal height and is lower than and flush with the upper end face of the socket top cover. When the switch assembly is switched on or off, the switch top cover will not be raised from the socket top cover, and will not hinder a plug being inserted into the socket, so that a large or special-shaped plug can also be inserted into the socket, and a more aesthetic appearance is achieved. In addition, a simple mechanical structure is used to achieve the operation of an indication structure, resulting in a simple structure, fewer parts being used, a lower cost, and reliable operation.
