Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a means for enabling a degree of fouling inside a container of a two-light-reception type smoke detecting device to be determined. A two-light-reception smoke detecting device 1 according to the invention of the present application comprises: a first light emitting unit 11 that emits polarized light; a first light receiving unit 12 having a first light reception axis (arrow C) intersecting a light emission axis (arrow B) of the first light emitting unit 11; a second light receiving unit 13 having a second light reception axis (arrow D) intersecting the light emission axis (arrow B) of the first light emitting unit 11; and a second light emitting unit 14 that emits unpolarized light. The first light receiving unit 12 is disposed on a first electronic circuit board 15, and the second light receiving unit 13 is disposed on a second electronic circuit board 16 perpendicular to the first electronic circuit board 15. Further, the second light emitting unit 14 is disposed on the first electronic circuit board 15. A fouling determination unit (not show) determines a degree of fouling inside a container 17 on the basis of a signal generated by at least one of the first light receiving unit 12 and the second light receiving unit 13 while the second light emitting unit 14 is emitting light.
