Abstract:
The sliding resistance of a slider is reduced as much as possible in a slider for a slide fastener and in a slide fastener that has a stop function and can be used in reverse. A slider (3) for the slide fastener has an upper raised part (15) extending in the front-rear direction on the rear side of a connecting column (13) on the lower surface of an upper wing plate (11) of a fuselage (10), and a recessed groove part (11d) that guides opposing side edges of a pair of tapes (4). The fuselage is also provided with a hook hole (H) that vertically passes through the upper wing plate and the upper raised parts and guides a hook (32) in a vertically movable manner. In an area (R) immediately adjacent to the hook hole, the left and right ends of the recessed groove part are located on the outer sides of the left and right ends of the connecting column, and the left and right ends of the upper raised part are located on the inner sides of the left and right ends of the connecting column. Due to this positional relationship, the edges of the tapes are accommodated in the groove while the upper raised parts become narrower, and the sliding resistance of the slider becomes smaller.
