Abstract:
The technology of the present invention relates to a signal processing device, signal processing method and program which enable reproduction by smoothly switching between a DSD signal and a PCM signal. A communication unit acquires a PCM signal and a DSD signal. A PCM up-sampling unit up-samples the PCM signal at a DSD signal sampling frequency. An LPF eliminates the high-frequency component of the DSD signal. A correlation analysis unit analyzes the correlation of the PCM signal after up-sampling to the DSD signal from which the high-frequency component has been removed, and detects a delay amount. A cross-fade unit uses the detected delay amount to adjust the timing of the DSD signal and the PCM signal after up-sampling, and cross-fades the DSD signal and the PCM signal after up-sampling. This technology is applicable to systems that acquire and reproduce audio data, for example.
