Abstract:
A trunnion shaft 12 of a trunnion-type suspension protrudes from a trunnion bracket 11 toward the outside in the vehicle width direction and supports a spring seat 13. A shaft inner circumferential surface 23 of the trunnion shaft 12 is tapered so as to narrow from a side plate insertion opening toward the inside in the vehicle width direction. An outer circumferential surface 27a of a protruding part 27 of a side plate 15 is tapered so as to narrow from a plate body 30 side toward the inside in the vehicle width direction. When the trunnion shaft 12 has been fixed to the side plate 15, the outer circumferential surface 27a of the protruding part 27 of the side plate 15 is pressed into surface contact with the shaft inner circumferential surface 23 of the trunnion shaft 12 by the fastening force of a bolt 16.
