Abstract:
A shaft removal method and a shaft installation method for a stern's engine room (1) of a ship having an unsymmetrical stern. The shaft removal method comprises: first, forming an opening on a hull plate of a ship, removing fastening parts on a shaft system, moving the shaft system along the axial direction thereof towards a stern of the ship by a first distance; then removing shafts according to a set shaft removal sequence, the set shaft removal sequence being sequentially moving the shaft system along a horizontal direction by a second distance, moving the shaft system along a vertical direction by a third distance, and rotating the shaft system along the horizontal direction by a set angle, so that the axis of the shaft system corresponds to the center of the opening; and then removing the shaft system out of the ship by means of the opening. The shaft removal method features simple steps and a high shaft removal speed, and can effectively reduce the working difficulty and the probability of damage to the shaft system.
