Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible for a customer to smoothly settle a transaction by self-operation, even if there is a defect in an unmanned store system. This settlement device comprises an acquisition unit, a display control unit, a correction receiving unit, a first settlement unit, and a second settlement unit. The acquisition unit acquires, from an external system, information about a product obtained by a settlement person in a product sales area. The display control unit causes a display device to display the information about the product acquired by the acquisition unit. The correction receiving unit receives a correction instruction for the information about the product. When the correction instruction has not been received, the first settlement unit performs settlement on the basis of the information about the product acquired by the acquisition unit. When the correction instruction has been received, the second settlement unit discards the information about the product acquired by the acquisition unit, and performs settlement on the basis of information about the product acquired through an input device.
