Title:
SERVICE FUNCTION CHAIN PROFIT MAXIMIZATION MAPPING METHOD AND SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2024/092993
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a service function chain profit maximization mapping method and system. The method comprises: calculating virtual link importance degrees and network link importance degrees, and determining a virtual link mapping sequence; pre-configuring, in a data center optical network, primary paths and secondary paths for all node pairs, and constructing a mapping auxiliary graph by means of the network link importance degrees; mapping virtual links and virtual network functions into the mapping auxiliary graph, choosing a line rate and a modulation format to bear a bandwidth requirement of virtual links in service function chains, and calculating the number of optical regenerators that are required to be configured for using the line rate; and after the mapping of all the service function chains is completed, calculating the mapping profit of the service function chains, otherwise, the mapping of the service function chains failing. In the present invention, the bandwidth requirement of the virtual links and a resource requirement of the virtual network functions are comprehensively considered, and the load balance of network nodes is controlled to the greatest extent while the mapping cost is controlled, such that the success rate of the mapping of the service function chains is increased.
