A self-monitoring wireless Internet-of-Things electric energy meter, comprising an upper shell (1), a lower shell (2) and an anti-theft assembly, wherein the anti-theft assembly is configured to enhance the anti-theft performance of the electric energy meter and is arranged at the joint between the upper shell (1) and the lower shell (2). The anti-theft assembly comprises: a slot (3), the slot (3) being provided in an outer side surface of the lower shell (2) in a vertical direction, and the slot (3) being symmetrically arranged on the lower shell (2); a sleeve (4), the sleeve (4) being provided on an inner side surface of the lower shell (2) in the vertical direction; a connecting rod (5), the connecting rod (5) being provided on the upper shell (1), and the connecting rod (5) corresponding to the sleeve (4); and a hook piece (6), the hook piece (6) being provided at the lower end of the connecting rod (5). The electric energy meter has a simple structure and can solve the problem whereby an intelligent electric meter in the prior art does not have an anti-disassembly function, so that criminals may refit the internal structure of the electric meter by disassembling the intelligent electric meter, and thus steal electricity.
